We are looking for participants in our online survey about young people’s political interests and participation

Request for Participation in an online survey about young people’s political interests and participation

As part of our research project Demography and Democracy: How Population Aging Alters Democracy – The Case of Japan, we are conducting an online survey with young Japanese people between the ages of 18 and 35. The survey takes about 10 minutes and is about young people’s political interests and participation.

The survey seeks to answer the following questions: How do young people view politics? What issues are important to young Japanese voters? How do they see their role in the political arena also in regard to an aging society?

🎯 The first round will run from 21 October 2024 to 31 December 2024. We look forward to the active participation of a wide range of young Japanese and would be very grateful if you could disseminate the survey among your students, colleagues, acquaintances, and friends.

若者の政治的関心と参加に関するオンライン調査へのご協力のお願い

⾼齢化により⺠主主義はどう変化するのか?若い有権者たちは⾃分たちの声を届けられているのか?それとも無視されていると感じ、政治への参加をあきらめているのか?これらは今⽇、多くの⺠主主義国家にとって差し迫る重要な課題となっています。

🎯 2024年12月31日まで本研究プロジェクトのオンライン調査に参加することはまだ可能です。調査は10分ぐらいかかり、若者の政治的関心と政治参加などについてです。注目は若い世代、従って18歳から35歳までの有権者です。もしよければ、貴大学の学生・教育スタッフ・知り合いにお知らせしてくだされば、大変助かります。
