Speech Contest and Webinar on Working in Japan by ConnectJob

Worldwide Japanese Speech Competition

 

■ Overview
Choose one topic out of the list given separately to the students with humanities or science background, then give out the presentation in Japanese. Winners will be selected for both the humanities section and science section, in 4 regions. (East Asia, South East&South Asia, North America&Europe&Oceania, Other Countries)

Apply・Submit your video→1st Stage→Final Stage→Get Results
▷Detailed Instruction
Apply from here and Pick whatever topic you would like.
↓
Submit the video of your presentation (with the length of 5 to 15min) via Google Forms mailed to the applicants.
↓
1st Stage: Winners of 1st Stage will be chosen in each region, and winners will advance to the Final Stage.
↓
Winners of 1st Stage will give out the presentation on live Zoom call with the judges. (Date of Final Stage will be announced later, considering the time zone of each region)
↓
Winners and high achievers will be announced in each region.Deadline of video submission for 1st Stage

■ Requirements
・Students from around the world (no age/grade restriction)
・Those who have conversational level of proficiency in Japanese
*One unit must have 1~3 as a member of the team.

Webinar on „Work in Japan“

Topics: Information on the Japanese job market, work environment and recruitment practice in Japan, etc., as well as introduction of some full-time and internship opportunities in Japan. As we are hosting our yearly recruitment fair and events, with many Japanese employers coming to recruit international students from all over the world, we would like to give you a better understanding of how it’s like to work in Japan in advance.
You can choose one slot from the following options;
・Slot1: July 27 7-8pm JST @ ZOOM / Japanese
・Slot2: July 28 7-8pm JST @ ZOOM / English
・Slot3: July 29 7-8pm JST @Clubhouse / English
※All the above-mentioned slots will have the same contents. Sign up and apply to one slot here beforehand, and we will send you a webinar link and password to log in with your own device, either PC, tablet, or smartphone, a day before the selected date.
